Protect-IT is easily integrated directly into your software application (eg. addition of 4 lines of code for
a basic protection scheme). Dongles are then sent out along with your software application to control customer
usage of the application. You will then use our online dongle manager (via the SSP website) to manage all your customer
dongles. This online management
allows you to re-configure or update customer dongles at any time by use of an Activation code. For example, dongles
may initially be sent out with a one month activation period, which means the user can only use your application for
one month before the dongle deactivates your software, each month you can send out a new Activation code
to keep your application active. Customers receive Activation codes either via an e-mail or by an online update direct
to his dongle, all from within your software application. In this way you can retain full control over the use of
your application, if a users decides
to stop their monthly payments, you can easily terminate their usage by not sending any more activation codes.

All distributed dongles are managed through your secure login to this website. Once logged in,
you can view and edit your database of customer dongles, create single or batches of activation codes and generate
various reports. For companies distributing & managing large quantities of dongles, there are three levels of login
(Admin, Superuser, User) which provides a tiered structure for numerous people to distribute & manage your customer dongles. |
